1. Complete Reader Info section on page 2 of this form and fill in your name on pages 3 and 4.2. Ask family and friends to sponsor your reading efforts. They can either sponsor you per page or give a donation. (You will find a helpful solicitation letter on our website.) List names and pledges in the Sponsor List section (page 3).3. Collect the books you want to read. Age appropriate please! (See “What Counts?” below.)4. Choose a time frame of 31 consecutive days between June 1 and July 31 for your reading. You must be finished by July 31.5. READ, READ, READ! Use the Reading List section (page 4) to keep track of books and pages read.6. After completing your 31-day reading period, collect pledges from sponsors. Checks or money orders must be made payable to We Care Program. U.S. funds only, please. (A sample collection letter is available on our website.)7. Choose your prize from the appropriate category in the Prize Selection section (page 2).8. Mail all pledges and pages 2-4 of your completed Reader Information Form by August 31 to: We Care Program 3493 Highway 21 Atmore, AL 365029. After We Care Program receives your pledges, we will send receipts to your sponsors for their tax deductible gifts (checks and money orders only).
What Counts?• All types of books: nonfiction, fiction, educational, fun_and most importantly, your Bible• Magazines, church periodicals, etc.• Audio books (page count based on printed book)• Kindle, iBooks, and other ereaders (page count based on printed book)• Reading aloud to other people or being read to
10. We Care Program will order prizes after receiving information and pledges from all readers. We will do our best to send them out by September 20. Watch the mail for your prize!
