This document informs on an experimental Rammed Earth project, to be built from february 2012 until april 2012.

The project aims at bringing together people with different knowledges in earth, lime, general construction, and architecture in a workshop structure, where mutual learning is facilitated.

Bathhouse is an initiative by BCstudies, research division of Brussels Cooperation (BC), based on a demand of a private client. BC is a young architectural office based in Brussels, Belgium, with projects in Ethiopia, Burundi and Belgium. BC has learned Rammed Earth techniques in the Earthworks Summer School 2010 by Anna Heringer and Martin Rauch in Gmunden, Austria, and at CRATerre, Grénoble, France.

The Bathhouse will be constructed in form of a workshop of 2x2 weeks, under guidance of people of CRATerre.

This document is written in English, because the workshop will receive people of different nationalities.
