HINTS:

T1 contrasting gives better anatomical detail (highresolution) while T2 shows a better distinction betweensolid and cystic structures

Water appears bright on a T2 weighted image and darkon a T1 weighted image

Fat appears dark in a T2 weighted image and bright in a

T1 weighted image

Muscle appears gray
