Safety Instructions 1. Before getting started with the machine assembly, please read through this manual.2. Separate all of the parts after opening the boxes and verify that all parts are accounted for and
have no damage.3. Assemble the machine on a solid level surface. This ensures the best possible performance,
function,and safety for the Functional Smith Trainer and workouts.e gym and workout. Caution: To avoid any injury it requires 2 persons at least to assemble this product!
Warning
It is essential that you consult with your physician before starting an exercise program. It is very important that all warnings and instructions are read and followed before using this system. Immediately replace any worn, torn, scratched warning labels or stickers. It is necessary to inspect this product periodically to maintain safety and proper function.
Inspect this gym before each workout for loose or worn parts, especially the moving parts such as the cables, pulleys and
onnections to accessories,and connecting points.
Immediately replace any worn or defective parts and do not use this gym until it is repaired or replaced.
! Make sure all adjustment pins are fully engaged before using this gym. ! Keep minors and children from playing on or around this gym at all times.

1. Hook the Weight Bar Assembly (#10) onto the Front Racks to the desired postion.2. Slide 1 Linear Bearing Shaft (#8) into one of the Weight Holder Assemblies (#9), the shaft faces foward as shown.3. Place a Shaft Mount (#11) onto the Bottom of the Linear Bearing Shaft assuring it is fully seated and tighten the set screws.4. Place a Shaft Mount onto the Top of the Linear Bearing Shaft before positioning it into the Right Main Frame. 5. Gently Guide the shaft of the Weight Holder Assembly into the Weight Bar Assembly all the way in.6. Secure the top and bottom Shaft Mounts to the Right Main Frame using:
Repeat the above steps installing the second Linear Shaft and Weight Holder Assembly at the Left Main Frame.

*Secure the #53 1- 3/8" x 1/2"L Cap Head Screw in the Cable Column Upright with M8 Allen Wrench

Top Weight Pulley Assembliesmust be fully threaded into the Top Weight Assembly with the Jam Nuts tightened securly
For Safety,
*If optional 200lb weight plates is being assembled, store awaythe Weight Stack Risers (#22)
1. Attach 1 Weight Shroud Mount (#26) tothe right side of rear bottom frame as shown
#59 4- 3/8" x 2 1/4"L Hex Bolts with blue patch#65 4- 3/8" Flat Washers
using:
2. Place 2 Weight Stack Risers (#22) aligning onto the the holes of rear bottom frame as shown.Place 1 Weight Stack Bumper (#34) onto each Weight Stack Riser.
3. Slide the Guide Rods (#21) through each weight stack bumper and weight stack riser into the rear bottom frame.
4. Carefully Slide 15 Weight Plates (#23) down the Guide Rods ontothe Weight Stack Bumpers.Be sure that all weight plates are facing toward fron of the machine. Front of weight plate is indicated by recessed area for weight stack numbers.Then slide the Top Weight Assembly (#19) down the Guide Rods ontoWeight Stack
5. Completely thread the bolt of the Top Weight Pulley Assembly (#20) and a Jam Nut (63) in the Top Weight Assembly with a Locknut on the Pulley Bolt facing towards the front of the gym.
Repeat the above steps to install the weight stack at the left side of rear top frame and rear bottom frame.
8. Slide the Guide Rod Collars (#33) to the top end of the Guide Rods against the rear top frame.
7. Insert the Guide Rods into the holes of rear top frame and then lift the Guide Rods up.Put #56 2- 3/8" x 4 3/4"L Hex Bolts with #66 4- Cruved Washers through the rear bottom frame and then secure the boltswith #69 2- 3/8" Lock Nuts
6. Place the other 1 Weight Shroud Mount through the Guide Rods, and then loosen the set screws attached to the the Guide Rod Collars (#33) sliding the collar onto each Guide Rod.

Tighten down the attached set screws to the guide rod collars with M4 Allen Wrench.
9. Position the Weight Shroud Mount (#26) against the rear top frame as shown using:#59 4- 3/8" x 2 1/4"L Hex Bolts with blue patch#65 4- 3/8" Flat Washers

press down the spring clip of After both cables are installed,
the Snap Hooks and hook inthe Low Row Bar (#30).
ASSEMBLY STEPS
