Remote, High Precision Pin Point StrikeThe Spike ER is an advanced electro-optic guided missile. All Missile functions, aiming, firing & tracking are performed from the Protector®USV’s shore control room or abroad other naval platform. The system features day and night operation and includes different modes of operation: Fire-and- Forget, Fire Observe & Update, Fire & Steer. This enables the gunner to switch between targets after launch, avoid friendly fire, conduct surveillance/damage assessment and attack hidden targets. The missile system utilizes the Protector®USV surveillance pod (e.g Toplite) to locate the target and slave the system turret to the target direction.

Other Mission ModulesThe Protector®USV short range security payload includes Mini-Typhoon Stabilized Weapon Station for up to 0.5” caliber guns. The stabilized Mini-Typhoon includes fire control capabilities, yielding an excellent shooting accuracy.
