the main disadvantage of native breeds are lower prolificity and lower carcass meat compared to breeds or commercial hybrids
the best way for the adjustment of these shortcomings, is production of hybridsbetween local breeds (Mangalitsa and Bazna) and comercial breeds (Duroc, Pietrain, LargeWhite, Landrace)
for the selection of the best hybridization scheme an analysis was made of the complementarity of the Mangalitsa and Baznabreeds with the most important meat breeds on the basis of studies in the literature (meta-analysis)
