Programming on a Budget
Angela SteagallESC2 Regional Library Meeting
September19, 2013
Why worry about programming?
• Student Literacy• Student Involvement• School Climate• Job Security• Necessary but
expensive
How do I make it work?
• Announce limited seating sign ups for crowd control
• Have a permission slip with time, cost and transportation details
• Look at calendars to avoid clashing with too many events
The Usual Suspects
• Author Visits• Book Fair• Book Clubs with one
title
Let’s think of some ways that we can do more frequent programs that cost less!
