PRO-PILOT
2018PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Huge demand for pilots increases year on year
Airline pilot: a fulfilling and rewarding career
Each year aircraft manufacturers Boeing publish their Pilot and Technician Outlook and in it they predict the demand for commercial pilots over the next 20 years. Looking at the latest figures below, you can see the number of new pilots that will be required in Europe is 106,000.
Every year pilot demand increases along with new aircraft orders and global passenger numbers (which currently stand at over 3 billion people traveling each year). If ever there was a good time to enter pilot training, the statistics suggest it is now.
