Shareyourprintswitheveryoneanddiscuss which ones worked the best.

Once you’re happy with your print design, grab some material. You’re going

to create your own accessory bag. You can makewhateveryouwant–awashbag,pencilcase or a sanitary bag, for example.

Measure out your material to the size youwantittobe,rememberingtoleave

enough room for a hem, then cut it out. If you’re stuck, use the pattern on the front of this card.

Printyourchosenpatternontoyourmaterial. You can print it once or

multipletimes–it’suptoyou!

Now,takeaneedleandthread,andsew a hem round your material to stop

itfraying.Tomakeyourmaterialthicker,youcan also add another layer by sewing in a felt lining on the inside.

Sewyouraccessorytogetherandaddafastening.Thiscouldbeatoggle,button

orevenazip.(Becarefulnottosmudgeyourprintingwhilesewing.)Ta-da!

Printing techniques

Potato printingCutapotatoinhalfandcarefullycarvetheshape you want into the base. Dip it in paint andpressdownevenlytocreateyourprint.Whynotinvertyourprint,sotheoppositepartsare dipped in paint?

String printingAttachstringinapatterntoapieceofcardusing glue. Dip it in paint and press down evenlytocreateyourprint.

Stencil printing Cutastenciloutofcardanduseaspongetodabpaintoverittocreateyourpattern.
