International EventsEuroGite’s General Assembly in Latvia – October, 2011

Online promotion: internet marketing, social media,

SEO:

• SEO (Search Engine Optimization): comprehensive

updated content that contains the relevant terms and

keywords plus external references (links) allow for a

good organic positioning that is free-of-cost.

• Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) make sense only

for specific target markets and age groups. To have any

effect, Social Media require considerable dedication in

time (= staff cost).

• Alternative use of Social Media (e.g. Facebook)

or “cloud” services such as GoogleDocs for internal

management and communication of RT organisations.

• publication of evaluations by clients: generally

conflictive, generates many discussions with

providers. However, these evaluations are highly used

and appreciated by the visitors when deciding about

booking a service.

Romanian hospitality…represents one of the main reasons why you should

visit us.

“It is hard to think of more generous hosts than

Romanians …they will give you the best of what they

have regardless of their wealth is what the guide

books will tell you. In my experience it is that and so

much more”.(http://www.samandlaura.net/2013/05/real-romanian-hospitality.html)

„Romanians go out of their way to make you feel at

home. When you are far from home, hospitality

makes you feel as if you are not so far away”.(http://www.feelmyfaith.com/2009/06/romanian-hospitality.html)
