• Hungarian liaison office for EESD in FP5 (1999-2001)• Contract from the Ministry of Environment to
establish and maintain an FP5 information network in the area of environmental protection
• Presently FP6 liaison office for the Central Hungary region (2002-)
• Living contacts with R&D institutions and SMEs in environmental protection and energy
• Good relations with relevant organizations (e.g., Association of Environmental Enterprises, Central Hungary Innovation Center)
Further cooperation possibilities
• Partnership in the CERA FP6 SSA project – one of the field of activities is sustainable energy
• Partnership in the RESCUE FP6 SSA project (Central and Eastern European SMEs towards RES – Action plan for stimulating research and innovation in SMEs from CEECs in the renewable energy field; coordinator: EuroProjekts Sp., PL)
• Joint proposals with Hungarian partners to the Environmental and Infrastructure Operative Programme
• Renewed cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Water Management
HSTF’s activities in FET EEU – WP1
• Identification of target groups in Hungary (asking existing contacts, visiting websites, using the participant lists of earlier events, etc.)
• Collecting relevant data from the relevant institutions, researchers, SMEs
• Collecting of competency profiles• Entering the data into the database• Classification of institutions by categories given by
the coordinator

• Participation in the eventsin Slovakia and Romania– presentation on selected FP topics on the infoday– representing Hungarian researchers’ profiles at
the brokerage– sending Hungarian researchers, SMEs to the
brokerage• Sending Hungarian interested parties to the
brokerage in Poland• Taking part in the maintenance of the website „Future
Energy Technologies for the Enlarged EU”
HSTF’s activities in FET EEU – WP3
• Participating in the Kick-off meeting and Final meeting of the project
• Preparing annual and final reports• Taking part in elaborating the project’s final
conclusions (position of NMSs and ACCs regarding cooperation in the field of future energy technologies)
