Flush Doors

A Flush Door is a completely smooth door, semi ready made door , can be easily

installed any where and filled with various type of core material. Flush doors are most

commonly employed in the interior of a dwelling, although slightly more substantial

versions are occasionally used as exterior doors, especially within hotels and other

buildings containing many independent dwellings.

“SANKALP” flush doors are manufactured as per Indian Standard IS 2202. A

solid core flush door consists of block board core construction with cross band and face

veneer bonded with phenol- formaldehyde (PF) synthetic resin by hydraulic hot process

method under high pressure and uniform temperature which makes our doors

structurally strong and dimensionally stable.

Testing :

Every Door passes through Rigorous multiple quality assurance test at our

advanced high-tech laboratory before delivery. Our key objective is to ensure perfection

in specifications desired by the buyers.

Flush Door specification

Timber is treated with preservative chemicals as per IS 401 and seasoned in automatic kin seasoning plant as per

IS : 1144. This process reduces the moisture content up to the desirable level and make wood durable, termite

free, borer free and fungi free.

Stile/Rail

Finger jointed stile/rail made of selected hardwood species having good screw holding capacity. (generally

mango wood)

Cross band

From selected species conforming to IS710.(Generally Poplar / Mango / Gurjan)

FaceVeneer

There is no best alternative to GurjanWood as a face veneer. (as per IS710)

Adhesive

It is a key element for manufacturing Flush Doors, Superior bonding & waterproofing (BWP) criteria is

achieved by using phenol formaldehyde (PF) synthetic resin.

Laminated Doors

Laminate pressed on flush door under specially designed press machine using

PVA/melamine resin. Since this doors laminated with high –tech machines, its durability

& finish is far better than those laminated manually by carpenters , also manual

lamination process is laborious & time consuming .

Our company is engaged in manufacturing, distributing and supplying a wide array of

fire resistant doors. Available in fire resistant levels from 30 minutes up to 120 minutes

all tested to BS 476 Part 20 & 22, IS3614 (Part 2), these doors are approved by CBRI

(Roorkee) and IPIRTI (Indian Plywood Industries Research & Training Institute)

55mm thick asbestos free composite Fire / Smoke check wooden shutters of 60

minutes fire resistance rating confirming to BS: 476 Part - 22 & IS: 3614 Part -II

comprising of 9mm thick Non-combustible board sandwiching 30mm thick

Proprietory fire resistance insulation material faced with 3mm commercial ply on

both side with heat activated Intumescent fire seal strip of size 20mm x 4mm

mounted on grooves on three sides except bottom and one coat of anti-termite fire

retardent primer.

recognized for its s optimum quality and durability. This door is capable of providing

extra security, longevity and complements the decor of the house. These doors can be

availed in innovative designs, variable dimensions and smooth textured surfaces. We

Finishing Instructions

1. Doors are delivered pre-primed (White).

2. No Sanding / Lapi / putti is required.

3. Clean the surface gently by wet cloth. After drying apply 2-3 coats of desired color.

4. Avoid damage to surface & corners, handle the doors with care.

Membrane Doors

We offer a Membrane Doors , using imported scratch resistant PVC foil ,

ranging from single & elegant to intricate and stylish patterns and these are available in

extensive colours & texture prints.

These doors are made of solid particle boards with side frame made of premium

quality timber species that is completely seasoned and chemically treated. The P.V.C

membrane is pressed on the door with the help of special water-proof glue by using

Vacuum Membrane Press. One side of the door is designed through CNC router

machine. On demand we also provide both sides designs .

door industry. Timber core is very common filler used for many years likes; Mango,

Pine, Meranti , Neem etc.

These are the most conventional door cores that have solid

wood as a filler. Timber core is also known as block board core. They are heavy in

nature and are suitable for outdoor application. It is a unique feature as compare to

other door , like; solid wood , borer free and powerful resistance.

2) Tubular Board Filled Doors:

Particle Board a new concept in Indian door industries and these board very popular used

as a core material. Particle board is used as core material because of such features like ;

easy to use , low weight, borer free ,Flat Surface and Eco-friendly. It is a also known as a

Ecolax board.

Precaution to take at storage & fitting stages : (For All Doors)

Store at cool & dry place

Avoid direct sunlight & water on stacking as it cause warping

Use proper level support at ground for stacking

Cover the stack with plastic to protect the doors from moisture, cement, sand and dust

particles which may cause scratches / damage.

Do not put / store any heavy material on the doors as it may cause damage.

Apply wood primer coat on door as soon as possible. It helps to protect the doors from

various climatic conditions. It help to avoid moisture attack and warping.

Select proper hinges as per size thickness.

Apply laminate / veneer on both sides of the doors. One side application cause

imbalance in the structure of the doors.

Avoid long time storage at site, plan delivery schedules as per requirement.

It is advisable to fix screws & hardware by first drilling and than fastening by

screw driver, using hammer may damage door.

Lipping (Biding Patti) is advisable, as it strengthens door and increases it’s

life and also Without border Patti will avoid warranty for door.

Order as per require size, as cutting size weakens the door, if unavoidable it is

advisable to cut a maximum 10mm from each size equally.

If require, pre plane for vision panel (glass gape) before ordering, so that

provisions for same can be made while manufacturing.

Do not drag doors across one another or across other surface.
