ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Vilasini Krishnan

Vilasini Krishnan is originally from Malaysia. She was awarded an

ASEAN Scholarship by the Singapore government and has lived,

studied and worked in Singapore for the last 15 years. Vila graduated

from the National University of Singapore in 2007 with an BSc (Hons)

in Biomedical Sciences. She started her career as a financial

journalist. For the last five years she has specialised in Oil and Gas

logistics and is currently Head of Business Development for the

Regional Projects Division at deugro Singapore. Vila is well versed in

navigating the rough seas of big ticket oil and gas projects and has

built strong client relationships with companies including

McDermott, Saipem, Subsea 7, SBM and the likes. Vila is married

with two cats, Smudgy and Tigger.
