Add Power BI to GP Home

Obtain Client ID

• In order to connect Dynamics GP to Power BI, Dynamics GP needs to be registered as an approved application on your Power BI account.

• Authenticate with same account you use for Power BI

Customize Home Screen

• Once Authenticated, you can add Power BI to your dashboard on your homescreen

Select Reports from Dashboards

• Only reports on a Power BI dashboard will be made available

• Create View• Add Object in Data Sources• Select in Data Sources• Publish Odata Feed

• The On-premises data gateway acts as a bridge, providing quick and secure data transfer between on-premises data (data that is not in the cloud) and the Power BI, Microsoft Flow, Logic Apps, and PowerApps services.
