Assignments. GREY GARDENS.Taking main inspiration from the film Grey Gardens, to create a mood board, capsule collec-tion and a final outcome, that Lilttle Edie would be able to wear if she was young in today’s world.

PAPER HEAD PIECE.The assignment was to create an innovative paper head piece. Experimenting with paper led me to produce a final product in Tyvek; taking inspiration from the greatest milliners; Stephen Jones and Philip Treacy.

MAGAZINE COVER.Creating a creative magazine cover with the understanding of digital media, and exploring the possibilities within Illustrator and Photoshop.

PLAY.A group project based on learning the basic techniques within print screening, then being able to translate these skills into our own ideas to create a collection of scarfs.

PLAY.A collboration between the Performing Arts students and the Fashion, the project was based on Yobs and Contact Improvisation, mainly inspired by Jamie Reid. Deconstructed jackets using mixed fabrics and discharge processes on silk.

JOY DIVISION.Creating a print design based on Urbanisation of Post-Indsutrial Manchester and the influences it had over Joy Division, this print will printed on a chosen item.

FINAL MAJOR PROJECT.Using research based on Japan, but looking at it from a sustainable perspective. I will compile a series of research pages through searching for images and articles,This will lead me on to create a collection of 22 outfits, from there I will make 2 garments and to present my outcome I will create a shortfilm.

TRIBAL CONSTRUCTION.I created a capsule collection based on Vivienne Westwood, taking inspiration from her early collections between 1975-1984. This project led me to look into inspiration scources such as Korean houses, traditional dressing, plus Scandinavian architecture.

TRIBAL RETAIL.I created a capsule collection for the designer Vivienne Westwood in Construction. I had to bring the collection to market, by creating a store known as Tribal. The task was to create a memorable and unique retail experience for my potential costomers. It was essential to recog-nise key features of inspirational store design and develop my own visual language to create a brand identity.
