Moleskine® was created as a brand in 1997, bringing back to life the legendary notebook used by artists and thinkers over the past two centuries. Today, the name Moleskine encompasses a family of nomadic objects: notebooks, diaries, journals, bags, writing instruments and reading accessories, dedicated to our mo-bile identity.Moleskine srl is a small and creative company enjoying continuing growth. It now has about one hundred employees and a vast network of partners and consultants. Its home office is in Milan, Italy. Its affiliates are Moles-kine America, Inc, with offices in New York, established in early 2008, and Moleskine Asia, Ltd, with offices in Hong Kong, established in late 2011. Ryohin Keikaku was spun off from Seiyu in 1989 and became a manufacturer/retailer for the planning, development, production, distribution and sale of MUJI products, which include diverse necessities such as clothes, household articles and food. MUJI now have 238 stores in Japan and 134 overseas (in Feb. 2011).

Renovation 1000sqm Italy 2009-2012

Renovation of an industrial and residential building of mid XXth century into six apartments in the surroundings of Milano. From conception to managing the construction site, municipal permissions, team leadership.

An industrial and residential complex of the 40ties trasformed into six large apartments in the sorroundings of Milano, Italy.The project consisted in the total renovation of the existing complex, transforming a single family house and the adjacent factory into a new residential unit, with a special attention to the new ecological regulations and to the preservation of the main features of the 40ies architecture such as a marvelous marble stair, an existing two storey window and all the green marble window frames, while dividing the complex to give it a contemporary use. It involved serious structural interventions in the basement and on the roof, which became a large penthouse with terrace. A new entrance for pedestrian and cars and a new stair and elevator were necessary for the new use and needs.
