The premise supporting bilingual education is the fact that students bring 5 years of Spanish oral language to their schooling experience.

identified as limited English proficient shall be provided a full opportunity to participate in a bilingual education or English as a second language program

• Students Participating in the Bilingual Program follow the same Exit Criteria as students participating in the ESL program.

• ESL is not a transition program for bilingual students.

• Send supporting documentation to Emelia, when reoffering the bilingual or ESL program to M1 or M2 students.
