NORMAN OGG PLACE NAMES COLLECTION

Mr . Ogg wrote to various cities, towns, municipalities, villages ,and districts in 1979 and 1980 about the origins of their names . Thecollection includes leaflets, pamphlets, brochures, tourist guides ,mimeographed and xeroxed material and various information package sabout the area in general with information on the origin of its plac ename and its early history. The books that were sent to Mr . Ogg havebeen listed at the end of the inventory .
