I often wonder who I amwhy God made me this way.Why my skin turns golden bronzeWhen I go outside to play.Why my hair is soft in places and Kinky here and there,And where I get my cheerful attitude,It seems to come from nowhere.

I think I have an ideaA place I’ve never explored.

A place from deep insideA place we all adore.

A place where we find peace and love, a place where we find hope. I think it’s time to cross that bridge

And uncover my Puerto Rican Heritage!

PILAR LIVED IN PUERTO RICO. SHE WAS A HAPPY LOVING PERSON WHO LOVED MUSIC AND PEOPLE.

Monserate Sicardo sitting with his daughters Ramonita and Lydia. Lydia is Monserate’s daughter from a previous marriage where her mother died. Monserate died when Ramonita was 18 years old. Pilar takes care of both girls. The other people there are Ida and a family friend. Monserate later died from stomach cancer

Pilar Porrata and Ricardo Niveo marries 1981.

Ricardo is the grandfather Pilar, my mother, grew up knowing.

Pilar ( Maria es del Pilar Garcia was her given name) visited her grandmother, Pilar Porrata, in Puerto Rico. Pilar Porrata Sicardo lived to be 82 years old.

She later died of phenomena

I know you thought the story ended, but now it’s just beginning. I must introduce you to a woman who was loved by many!
