The Friscus (Frisbee Discus) Throw:first place, Martin of Miletus; second place, Nathaniel of Carthage.

Poetry Declamation Contest

Martin, in first place for the Latin category, declaims an ode of Horace.

In second place for the Latin category, a chorus recites Horace’s Persicos odi.

Pierce, in second place for the English category, performs

some rap.

Emily Marie, in first place for the English category, recites a speech of Dido from the

Aeneid

The Spartan Relay: Four teams race to collect candy from piles jealously guarded by these armed

priests.

The winning team members with their prizes.

Tug of War: Classicists….

vs. Historians.

The Classicists are victorious.

The games conclude with good will on both sides, as well as with pita bread, feta cheese, and Greek yoghurt.
