Concrete Poetry

HaikuHaiku is a Japanese poetry form with three lines. Usually haiku are written about nature. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables. You will write three haiku all related to a similar topic.

A-B-A-B C-D-C-D E-F-E-F G-G

Free Verse PoemFree verse is poetry that uses different figurative language devices but DOES NOT use rhyme. Think about your topic or what you want to express. Then, create a list of words that would relate. Use a thesaurus.
