What?• Agreement was formed with the Iraqi

government, and now Pentagon somewhat agrees with President Obama’s plan to bring out all U.S. troops out of Iraq by 2011.

• President Obama decided to add more troops to Afghanistan, as he claims that the Bush administration forgot about the war there.

• The Pentagon has been working on the upcoming budget for the transition time. President Obama presented his budget to Congress days after he was sworn in. – The Pentagon says this month, the baseline

budget would be $524 billion dollars.

Where?

• U.S., the Pentagon• Afghanistan• Iraq

When?

• Now (Current day)

Why?

• America is now trying to better control its economy.

• America is also trying to bring back the troops from Iraq, and control the situation in Afghanistan.

How do I feel about this?

• I feel as though the U.S. is in a tight space to maneuver, and that every decision the Pentagon and Congress make should count.

• Also I feel glad that the U.S. is starting to make changes, and that President Obama is acting just as he said during his campaign.
