There aren't any countries, cities, or houses in Antarctica. Antarctica is the fifth continent in space. 99% of it is covered with snow but some people call Antarctica a desert ! Why? Because it is the driest and windiest place on Earth, and it doesn't rain at all. Yes, it is a desert but Antarctica holds 70% of the world's fresh water in the ice.
Penguins, seals, and whales are animals that live in Antarctica. They eat fish from the sea, and have very thick skin that keeps it warm.
