Our Mission
1891: Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother arrived in Oshkosh to start St. Mary’s Hospital
1894: Ground breaking for the first St. Mary’s Hospital. $25,000
1918: The Sisters purchased Lakeside Hospital
1922-1965: Several expansion projects completed
1971: Mercy Medical Center Foundation is established
Philanthropy has shaped Mercy Medical Center and Affinity Health System
1990-1998: Over $2,094,542 given to projects to benefit health and well-being of Oshkosh area community
1998-2000: $4.3 million raised for new hospital’s Campaign for a Healthy Community
2009-2013: MercyStrong campaign raised $3,835,796 for Heart and Lung, Cancer and Radiology programs and equipment
