As one tournament becomes history, it leads the way to the next generation.
Enjoy a two and a half minute video where you’ll find highlights of the tournament, from past to present, with com-ments from players and coaches, including that renowned manager.
<Remarks from the video>-This tournament is acknowledged as a world-class event for high school rugby players. Now that it has become so huge, I can't help but reminisce the past. It’s a great experi-ence for all the teams. The domestic players are becoming more and more stronger, strong enough to compete against their overseas counterparts, who are larger in size.
(Mr. Ryoji Yamaguchi ‒ Former Head Coach of Fushimi Technical High School)
-This tournament is one of the most important events in our team’s calendar. Perhaps the most important. It’s difficult to win here, even more so than at Hanazono, at Japan National High School Championship.
(Mr. Hideyuki Fujiwara ‒ Head Coach of Toin Gakuen High School)
-We want to win this tournament. As a team from Fukuoka, we feel so honored to have taken part in this international competition for the past 20 years; an outstanding annual event held in Munakata city, Fukuoka. It is our continuing goal to be the champion of this tournament, and we are so grateful for the exceptional experience offered here. I really hope a team from Fukuoka will someday take the trophy.
(Mr. Yuichiro Fujita ‒ Head Coach of Higashi Fukuoka High School)

Special video to mark the 20th anniversary of the tournament
The very first tournament opened with the splendid sound of bagpipes, and Scottish bagpipe bands have been gracing the event ever since. They now play an essential part in the tournament.

In 2000, Global Arena was established to realize the strong vision put forth by the founder of SANIX, Shinichi Munemasa, to “create a gathering place for children across the globe, where they can interact through sports and culture”. From here, the history of the tournament began. Munemasa’s legacy lives on as many interactions between peoples are continuing to take place at the very site.It would be our utmost pleasure if children from all over the world nurture dreams, hopes and friend-ship through our tournament, and that this wonderful community of global understanding would spread throughout the planet.

For a comfortable environment, for the next generation.SANIX continuesto take on the challenge.
Recycling Energy from Waste Plastics (Resource Recycling-Oriented Power Generation Systems)
Industrial Waste Increasing in Accordance with Economic Development....The disposal of these materials is an important social issue.SANIX entered the industrial waste treatment business in 1994 to meet the needs of the times. In the course of its operation, we focused on the high calories burned by plastics, and developed a resource-recycling power generation system that recycles plastics that had been simply burned and disposed of at landfills as energy. Waste plastics discharged from manufacturing plants and other plants are processed into fuel at 15 plants nationwide and used as fuel for power generation at SANIX Energy Tomakomai Power Station (subsidiary of SANIX, Hokkaido). Recycled as energy.
In the modern era, where measures against global warming and environmental destruction are urgently needed, the creation of a sustainable society is a common awareness of the world.Under the company philosophy of "a comfortable environment for the next generation," we develop our business in three areas: residential environment, energy, and resource recycling. Our goal is to create a society in which "a comfortable living environment is linked to the next generation," "energy with low environmental impact," and "recycling resources without abandoning them," all of which are established as obvious values.
Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals.
