Taglialatella Fine Art Gallery graciously hosted a cocktail pre-event on January 17, 2013 to both promote and benefit the American Lung Associa-tion’s upcoming 11th Annual Breath of Life Luncheon. The Taglialatella Gallery, located at 313 ½ Worth Avenue- Via Bice in Palm Beach, generously donated 10 % of the evening’s sales to the orga-nization’s fundraising efforts. Guests of the invite-only event enjoyed works by featured artist Russell Young. Young, an acclaimed pop artist, is known for his diamond-dusted, silkscreen paintings of images from history and pop culture. Sparkling silver and vibrant pink pieces of Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot were among the crowd’s favorites of the artist’s collection featured at Taglialatella Gallery. The American Lung Asso-ciation’s Breath of Life Luncheon will take place at The Breakers on February 22nd and will feature an Enchanted Garden theme and 2013 Spring Fashion Showcase by designer Alfred Fiandaca. Tickets and tables can be purchased by calling (561) 659-7644 ext. 1601.

In anticipation of Miami City Ballet’s (MCB) annual Palm Beach gala celebration, entitled Disco & Diamonds!, scheduled for February 13th at The Breakers, MCB’s corps of supporters, the Artist’s Circle, gathered at quintessential Palm Beach establishment Renato’s to honor the gala chairs and sponsors, as well as celebrate the opening night of Program II: Tradition and Innovation featuring a World Premier ballet by 26 year-old Liam Scarlett, the Royal Ballet’s most successful young choreographer. MCB’s Artistic Director, Lourdes Lopez, welcomed all and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the support of the Artist’s Circle contin-gency and gala underwriters, including Premier Sponsors Gillian Fuller, Michele and Lawrence Herbert, Adelaida and Gary Iscoe and Michael and Lora Schultz. Renato’s owner, Arlene Desiderio, was presented with an engraved plaque honoring Renato’s gracious support in hosting the evening’s pre-performance reception.
The Disco & Diamonds! Gala on February 13 promises to be a sensational evening where diamond-clad guests will mingle at the VIP Cocktail Hour, compliments of Bacardi USA, Inc.

The Palm Beach Round Table Speaker Luncheon was held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at The Beach Club Palm Beach with Luncheon Chairman, Underwriter & Speaker Sponsor Hermé deWyman Miro presiding over the event together with President Dick Robinson. The guest speaker was Major The Honorable John Browne, Former Member of Parliament. His speech topic was “The Power of the British Monarch”, in which the members were most interested. He spoke about the power and popularity of Britain’s Queen and the threats to the British Monarchy. He ended by stating that he understands why they say “God Save The Queen”. The audience was fascinated by this ex-cellent speaker and his most interesting topic. The King’s Academy High School Choir, consisting of 35 talented students, performed a musical interlude led by their director David Snyder prior to the luncheon. Mrs. de Wyman Miro, Scholarship Chair-man, presented a scholarship to The King’s Academy High School Choral Director Mr. Snyder. The Round Table patron members also greatly enjoyed the elegant atmosphere of The Beach Club, its excellent food and each other’s company.

An extraordinary combination of cirque theatrics, high-flying acrobatics, and fantastical décor ensured thrills and jaw-dropping chills for nearly 400 guests at Cirque du Palm Beach, Encore! The best, and certainly the most entertaining, party of the season rocked Mar-a-Lago on Saturday, January 19th and raised over $600,000 for The Leukemia & Lym-phoma Society (LLS) Palm Beach Area Chapter.
Gala chairs Geri and Frank Morrow welcomed guests to an evening that was not only visually stunning but also fea-tured the sounds of the Soul Survivors Orchestra and a delectable four-course
menu that was a gastronome’s delight. In addition, guests were enticed to bid on the wide array of fabulous silent and live auction items that included a $40,000 black and white diamond necklace, VIP tickets to the celebrity-studded Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and the chance to be “Sheriff for a Day” auctioned off by celebrity auctioneer, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw.
Elizabeth Fago, Chairman Emeritus and recipient of the 2013 Outstand-ing Service Award was honored at the Gala with a special introduction by last year’s honoree and longtime LLS sup-porter, Suzy Minkoff, who could not
attend but had Dick Robinson read her heartfelt remarks. Another highlight of the evening was Zachary Potter, 2012 LLS Man of the Year, who spoke about his personal commitment to eradicat-ing blood cancers and inspired everyone with his touching tribute to his father, who lost his battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2010. Other notable guests included John Walter, LLS National Presi-dent & CEO, Peter Brock, Bernard Garil and Kathryn Vecellio, LLS National Board members and host chairs, Melania and Donald Trump.

We would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce you to Dr. Rapaille,
President and CEO of Archetype Discover-ies Worldwide.
Dr. G. Clotaire Rapaille is an internation-ally known expert in Cultural Archetype Discoveries, Creativity and Innovation. His unique approach to marketing combines a psychoanalyst’s depth of analysis with a busi-nessman’s attention to practical concerns. He has written more than fourteen books. His last book the Culture Code, first published in 2006 was No 9 in the best-seller list of Business Week, has been translated in over twelve lan-guages and sold over 200,000 copies in Korea.
Among his other books, La Communication Creatice published in 1976 revolutionized the world of marketing at a time when Dr. Rapa-ille was referred to in France as the Pope of Creativity. The 7 Secrets of Marketing was published in 2004 and Je t’aime, Je ne t’aime pas, co-written with Michelle Barzach (the Minister of Health during Jacques Chirac’s time in office) was published in 1974.
Dr. Rapaille’s work for the past 20 years led him to develop a new process for understand-ing how we are imprinted for the first time by what he calls the Logic of Emotion, which is the code of each Cultural Archetype in the collective unconscious of a given culture.
Dr. Rapaille has travelled the world, served a term in the diplomatic corps and has com-
pleted extensive marketing research on product and brand archetypes for international corpora-tions. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
He has taught at numerous universities and graduate schools including The Sorbonne University, Paris, France, St. Ignace, Antwerp, Belguim, Esade, Barcelona Spain and HEC/ISA (Business School), Paris et Jouy en Josas, France.
