Historic windmills are the most recognized landmark on this internationally known island. For decades it's sunny beaches and vibrant night life have drawn tourists.

This volcanic island in Cyclades has a unique geography. Small homes are built on the steep edge of the rocks face. Some have rooms carved out of pumice stone rock left by the volcano. Small family churches are dotted amongst the white homes.

This beautiful harbor is in the main town of Naxos. The largest island in the Cyclades it has a diverse economy and a lively atmosphere year round.

This beautiful harbor town is on the island of Lesvos. A medieval castle built by the Byzantines sits atop a small hill and the town's preservation status ensures the beauty of the natural stone houses.

Colorful fishing boats line up along the quay on the Island of Spetse. Locally these broad boats are known as Kayikis.

This village on the Peloponnese was founded in the 6th century as a refuge from invaders. Over the centuries it was held by the Byzantines, The Pope, Venetians and then the Ottomans. It was liberated during the Greek War of

Independence.

Kolymbithres

This sheltered beach on the Island of Paros is known for it's unique rock formations. Time and water has eroded the rocks to form a cavity that resembles a baptismal font from which the beach took it's name.

On any of the hundreds of Greek Islands you can see these fishing boats called kayikis. The vibrant colors of this boat in Naousa have been sun bleached to soft pastel hues.

This tranquil harbor is in Galaxidi a beautiful old port town in Central Greece. The 18th and 19th centuries saw great prosperity from shipping and the area has many fine mansions from that era.
