Dear Parents,
Thank you for your support today with our Comic Relief activities. We raised £87.00 which
will help someone have a more optimistic future.
On Monday, we will all be participating in an Easter Service at Ford End Church. These will
be within our own bubbles. The children have worked hard to prepare something for their
classes service.
We will be telling you more about this and our Comic Relief afternoon in next week’s
newsletter.
Let’s hope the lovely weather continues. Have a great weekend.

Class 2 made models of Stonehenge in DT. We learned the importance of not adding too much liquid to royal icing, adding food colouring and constructing a model using edible materials.

Cutlery Usage
Please could you help your child at home to use a knife and a fork. Some of the younger children are having trouble using cutlery at school. Thank you for your support.
Eddie the Eagle
This coming week sees the start of the Havering Festival of Education. Some of the staff
here will be listening to these speakers. One of whom is Eddie the Eagle. Great quote
from Eddie ‘The Eagle’ on joining us at the event!

Plant Pots Outside School
We hope you have noticed our beautiful pots and planters that will gradually bloom into
beautiful colours over the next few weeks. Thank you so much to our Chair of Gover-
nors who continually keeps these in check and replants when needed. They make the
front of our school look great. Spring is on it’s way! Thank you Jane Jee.
Charity Event
Please see attached leaflet on the next page about the upcoming charity event for Cystic
Fibrosis, organised by Kevina Wormall.
Social Distancing
It has been noticed that the narrow path outside the hall is getting congested during drop off/collection times. Can we ask you to use our running track to walk around if you think it is getting too crowded for you? Thank you for continuing to wear masks within the school grounds.
