Statis = Simple, Praktis, no ribet •Hanya cocok untuk jaringankecil/sederhana•Diperlukan input secara manual disetiap router saat

penambahan jaringan baru •Tidak cocok untuk jaringan kompleks dengan banyak

router

Jenis Routing Dinamis = Powerfull, kompleks • Cocok untuk jaringan besar dengan banyak router• Skala enterprise / ISP • Diperlukan skill / pengetahuan routing yang baik• Dapat menangani jaringan kompleks multi vendor, multi ISP

maupun antar Negara • Biaya tinggi karena membutuhkan spesifikasi router khusus
