INVOCATION
CALL TO WORSHIP Debbie Flood Leader: O magnify the Sovereign One with me, and let us exalt God’s name together!
People: I sought the Sovereign One, and God answered me, and delivered me from all my
fears. Leader: We are made glad with joy in God’s presence. God’s glory is great and God’s help is
unfailing.
All: We bow before you your splendor and majesty, and praise your name.
*HYMN*** "To God Be the Glory" No. 485
UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION Since we have been raised with Christ, let us set our minds on things that are above. With the
help of the Spirit, we have put off the old nature with its practices and put on the new nature.
Therefore, let us put to death what is earthly in us, fornication, impurity, unnatural passion,
evil desire, anger, wrath, pride, slander, and foul talk from our mouths. For we have died
and our lives have now been risen with Christ in God.
SILENT CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Leader: Remember that faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not
seen. By faith we receive our forgiveness in Jesus Christ. Amen. All: Thanks be to God! Amen.
