No. CSB/RSRS/6-Store/2016-17 Date : 26.-8.2016Tenders are invited for purchase of one Mini Tractor and one Power Tiller for cultural operations at this station, with specifications furnished hereunder :-Sl No. Item Specifications1. Multi Utility Mini Tractor, with Rotavator and Cultivator 1. Diesel Engine : 22 to 25 HP

2. Maximum Tractor width : 1000 mm to 1200 mm3. Ploughing Depth : 150 mm to 200 mm

2. Power Tiller 1. Diesel Engine : 07-10 HP2. Width : less than 900 mm.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :1. Sealed quotations from the registered/authorized dealers/suppliers having Tin Number for purchase of the item should be addressed to the Scientist-D, Regional Sericultural Research Station, Central Silk Board, Miran Sahib, Jammu-181101. The sealed quotations should reach on or before 21.09.2016upto 1.00 PM by Speed/Registered Post only. The quotations shall be opened on the same date at 3.00 PM in presence of the parties or their authorizedrepresentatives, whosoever desires to be present. Late and delayed quotations will not be accepted in any case.2. The envelope containing the quotations for should be duly superscribed on the top of the envelope “Quotation for Mini Tractor & Power Tiller’’.3. The rate should be valid for 90 days from the date of opening of quotations.4. The ordered items should be supplied within 20 days from the date of receipt of firm order.5. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) @ 2% of the quoted cost should be attached with the quotation in the form of Demand Draft favouring “RSRS,CSB’payable at Jammu. Quotations not accompanied with EMD shall be rejected summarily. The EMD in form of cheque or cash will not be accepted in anycase. The EMD will be refunded to the successful bidder only after successful & satisfactory supply of ordered items within the stipulated time failingwhich EMD shall be forfeited. The EMD amount will not bear any interest.6. Any dispute will be resolved within the jurisdiction of Jammu only.7. The Scientist-D, RSRS, Miran Sahib, Jammu reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. However, bidder is at liberty to seek clarificationin respect of bidding conditions, bidding process and or reasons for rejection of the bid.8. It may be noted that the overwritten rate quotations shall not be accepted in any case.
