Purpose
To educate students, faculty and staff on multicultural and social justice issues
To provide community for underrepresented students, specifically MALANA students (Multi-ethnic, African-American, Latino/a, Asian American & Native American)
To create an inclusive community at Illinois Wesleyan, specifically for MALANA, LGBTQ, First-Generation students, women, and minority males.
Signature Programs
Minority Alumni Network Picnic
Every year on the first Sunday in August, Titans in the Chicago area get together for the Minority Alumni Network (MAN) Picnic. This year, the picnic will be held on Sunday, August 3, hosted by Melvin and Demetria Cryer (parents of alumna Qiana Cryer-Coupet '06) in Hazel Crest.
MALANA Pre-Orientation
What is it? A 3-day program for MALANA
students that allows them to orient themselves to campus and build community amongst each other before the general student population move on campus

What is it? A mentoring program specifically for
first-generation students.
