The Bowens Octo150 is a unique large softbox which offers several unique featuresthat are particularly of advantage toportrait photographers.

Unlike other large octagonal softboxesavailable on the market, Bowens Octoboxesfeature a perfectly round front diffuser forperfectly round catch lights, which arecleaner and more pleasing than their multi-sided counterparts.Another difference is how your flash unit ismounted inside the Octobox, facing the rear

- away from the subject. This offers twodistinct advantages over traditionalsoftboxes. Because there are no extra layersof diffusion fabric between the light sourceand the front diffuser, it is a remarkablyefficient softbox and can be used with arelatively small flash, such as a Gemini 500.

The other significant advantage of this designis the evenness of illumination on the frontcloth. The interior silver and white surfaceshave been designed to ensure optimumevenness of light.

Because the light is so even, it can be usedclose to the subject to produce maximumsoftness as well as maximum light output.

Assembling the large Octo150 is easy.Simply insert the support rods into theadaptor ring then zip up the two side zips tocreate the octobox. At last a big softbox thatcan be assembled, and disassembled,quickly and easily.

The Octo150 comes supplied with a travelbag for easy transportation.

The unique round diffuser createsaesthetically pleasing catchlights making thisthe perfect beauty softbox and the softnessand evenness of the light means the Octo90can be used from large lighting setups toclose in to the subject with no loss in thequality of light.

Because the flash unit is mounted facing therear of the softbox there is no hot-spot on thefront diffuser - the light is bounced from therear of the Octo90 to create a remarkably softand even light.

To assist with creating perfect skin tones inbeauty work and portraiture, the Octo90comes supplied with two removeable innertone reflectors, one gold and the other silverand gold - use in conjunction with the largesilver interior of the softbox for amazing skintones.

To assemble the Octo90, insert the supportrods into the adaptor ring, then zip-up theside panels and secure in place with thefastening tabs - fast and simple.
