Judge Joseph H Bell an officer ofthe Ocala Rifles was present andread the conditions necessary for se ¬curing the permanent encampment-for the state troops-

As the Boaard of Trade feels thatOcala is in a pasition to fulfill the re¬quirements an effort will be made todo so

A committee consisting of JudgeBell Lieutenant J M Graham andMr R L Martin was appointed to Iselect the necessary land and to take Isuch other steps as are necessary for Isecuring the encampment-

A proposition was also read fromone of the United States senatorsfrom New Jersey asking if the board-of trade would endorse PresidentRoosevelts proposition of life insur ¬ance to come under federal supervis-ion

and other propositions enacting-the same into law and making it ef¬fective all of which were endorsed
