Referring to what has been presented on 01/02/2013 regarding the radial dimensions of the sectors, due to the NSW (slightly) different position in z, these dimensions have been (slightly) changed:
This means that to cover the desired h range (1.3 ÷ 2.7), the effective detecting area must have the following radial distances from the beam axis:
Small Sectors: from 927mm to 4383mm (zmid SS = 7261.5mm)Large Sectors: from 953mm to 4628mm (zmid LS = 7676.5mm)
Assuming a 30mm thick wedge assembly frame, the large sectors should be extended ≈10mm towards the EIL4 chambers

Large Sector envelopeThis cut is necessaryTO BE
CHECKED
The envelope has changed slightly
sTGCs are 59mm shorter than the envelope out
of h range
10
Small Sector envelope
sTGCs are 121mm shorter than the envelope out
of h range

Only 3mm from the spoke CRITICAL
