Challenges Faced
• Huge volume of applications for every vacancy announced but very few meet the required qualifications.
• Attracting and retaining qualified and trained staff, especially women.
• Finding staff for remote and insecure provinces.• Identifying qualified training service providers for
other than basic management/languages courses.• Monitoring and evaluating the impact of the trainings
providing or the effectiveness of the cascade-down training approach.
Key Future Plans• Amending NSP staff contracts to cover entire NSP
III period, with special stipulations.• Proactive measures to attract women staff.
• Assisting OD and PD in procuring a long term service contract with a firm for contextualized NSP trainings and standardizing NSP trainings.
• Assisting OD and PD in procuring a consultant to evaluate effectiveness of NSP trainings for communities.
• Helping M&ED and FPMD in monitoring FP trainings for communities on regular basis.
