X’s role is said to be Instrumental in suppressing terrorism in the run of the 1996 Assembly Elections. The very report I am writing this question from is titled ‘India’s Forgotten Army’. • The makers of X were embroiled in a controversy with the Academy of Motion Pictures after the Academy didn’t nominate X for the Best Original Score Category, noting that the movie contained over half an hour of non original classical score.
