BUILDING MATERIAL OF THE FUTURE – ETFE IN ARCHITECTURE
Light and UV-permeability, flame resistance, and the self-cleaning effect
are the most important properties which this material offers. All products in this
series are certified in accordance with DIN EN 13 501-1 and are classified as
flame resistant/self-extinguishing.
While the film is extremely light weight, it can handle large weight loads making
it an all-around high performance item. The durability and longevity of this
product offer an economic advantage. In addition, ETFE is almost completely
recyclable, making it an important part of sustainable building practices.

NOWOFOL ET 6235 Z-IR film is the first of its kind worldwide.
It demonstrates tremendous technical characteristics: The infra-red
rays which are responsible for heating up the covered area are actu-
ally absorbed by the film, buildings stay cool longer. There are many
positive outcomes to this. Geographical areas never before conside-
red as candidates for the use of ETFE enclosures can now be viable
customers, creating both economic and ecological advantages.
Transparency and mechanical characteristics remain exceptional.

NOWOFLON® ET 6235 Z-IR is the newest member of the NOWOFLON product
family and is on its way to becoming the most famous one!
FILM PROPERTIES:
• Excellent mechanical strength, particularly
tear strength and tensile strength.
• Excellent weather resistance.
• Reduced G-value, while simultaneously
high light transmission.
• The film is self-cleaning due to its anti-adhesive
properties.
• Xenontest per DIN ISO 4892-2.
• The film can be printed in different designs.
• Fire resistant per DIN EN 13-501-1.
Although the IR light transmission is low, the transperency of the film is still high.
