“An ancient Hebraiclegend state that theworld is preventedfrom being submergedin folly and wicked-ness by the presencein each generation ofthirty six “Just Men”who, through theirconduct and gooddeeds, ensure thesafety and survival ofhuman kind. Theseindividuals operate
inconspicuously, scarcely recognized byothers or even themselves.
It is believed that the Thirty Six are alwayspresent”
With the cloud of World War II looming overVienna, Ernst Mann is forced to leave his homeand set off on a perilous journey that spansSerbia, Nazi occupied Italy and the sacredchambers of the Vatican itself. Unbeknownstto him, Ernst is one of the ‘Just’; one of the socalled, Lamed Vav; one of thirty six Jewishsouls that embody a mysterious, metaphysicalforce that influences each and every step thathe takes. Mann meets his counterpart youngBishop Lorenzo Giraldi. Together, theyparticipate in a subplot in which the veryfoundation and moral balance of mankind comesinto play. In this spellbinding drama we watchas the ebb and flow of moral forces areengaged; culminating in an unnerving, passionate and wondrous conclusion.

Claire Zimmers shares her thoughts on her successful weekend in Philadelphia with the SusanG. Komen 3Day Walk for the Cure.
“To actually stand at the Opening Ceremony at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, surrounded by amammoth stage, giant banners, and 2100 walkers was truly amazing for us.
As planned, my sister-in-law Claire, her daughter Brooke, my daughter Debbie, and I walkedtogether, constantly aware of the meaningfulness each and every step of the way, as wecollected memories that will last our lifetimes. We were cheered on continuously by residentsas we passed through their neighborhoods, students as we passed by their schools, familiesof survivors, families of walkers, and families of those who didn’t survive.”

We are also pleased to announce that thisseason will feature demo days from companiessuch as Taylor Made, Callaway, Cobra, Pingand Adams Golf. Our Professional Staff will bethere to assist you in every way possible duringthese demo days.
The course has been groomed for the seasonand is in great condition. We ask that you helpus keep it that way by repairing ball marks, filling divots and raking bunkers. We welcomeyour thoughts and should there be anythingwe can do to enhance your Old Courseexperience, please let us know.
MAINTENANCE Joseph Hubbard, CGCSOLD COURSE : As with the Club Course, we are awaiting the remainder of the flowers we ordereda few months ago to come in for the beds around the golf course and finish up our landscape plantingplan. We selected plants to better handle any unexpected extremely cold weather we have had toendure the past couple of winters. The color selections will be varied and should be dynamic.
The composting project will continue year round to stay on target of building quality organic mixwith the sand base soil the Old Course is built on. The fairways have already shown a definiteincrease in density and ability to hold more moisture and nutrients in the profile. The savings ofthe composting will multiply exponentially each year.

hLearnin’ With Vernon Tips & Strategies For Fun & Successful Tennis!Assumptions
You know that saying: “Assumptions make a…..” well, you know the rest!
Here’s where we throw this cliché to the wind. There are a couple ofassumptions you must make in order to play at a consistent level.
1. Assume that your ball is going in- You must make this assumptionso you don’t over analyze your shots or become a spectator (Is it in, is itout, I didn’t hit the ball that well etc.)
2. Assume that your opponent is going to get the ball back- Assuming your opponentswill get the ball will keep you perpetually prepared for the next shot. Sometimes you may hitwhat you believe to be a really great shot but you are so busy patting yourself on the back thatyou don’t recognize that your opponent has actually hustled to get the ball and it’s coming backat you! After hitting your shot don’t stand there admiring how great your shot is and believingthat your opponent is not getting it back, make the correct assumption… remember, you canalways sign autographs later!

A Dandelion Never Dies
Welcome Back to Broken Sound, Sunny Florida& Happy Healthy Holidays,The Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute—www.MSAWI.org—would like to thank you foryour consistency in the depositing of cellularphones, & your financial/calling card donationsfor the benefit of Cell Phones for Soldiers(CP4S)—Calling Card Minutes.
When we established MSAWI we adopted thedandelion as our logo. Why you might ask?Because a dandelion never dies, when it hasfinished blooming, the yellow flower becomeswhite and sends its seeds afar and we neverknow where they will land. Similarly, we believeour seeds of Support A Soldier Box and CP4S/Calling Card Minutes impact Troops whom wewill never know. In addition, allowing those whomwe have never met to write letters and sendpackages gives people the opportunity toparticipate in Acts Of Kindness, to remember ourTroops. Thank you for helping to spread thedandelion seeds in our community, to your family& friends up north and in Iraq and Afghanistan. You may drop off your phones/donations at theBroken Sound Club Front Reception Desk & atthe CMA office.
Thanking you again,Esther & Len Wolferesther@msawi.org
