Nics reflection for 2012

Made by Nic

Writing This year in writing I have really enjoyed creating our own Narratives, learning a lot about Explanations and reviewing prefixes.

ReadingThis year I have read books such as, Harry Potter, Monkey Mountain, Boy overboard, ECT. And the reading focus groups have helped me a lot.

Maths

• My most enjoyed thing in maths this year would have to be the Share Market but what I loved about it was seeing if our shares went up or down each day.• And I have definitely improved in the

four processes by revising them.

Religion• I have loved creating our own class

liturgies.• I have also enjoyed learning about

the different types of prayer such as Liturgical, Contemplating and even the Rosary.

Art• I learnt about Surrealism.• I have enjoyed the different

topics and mediums but mainly enjoying Art time.• My favourite activity was• just using coloured pencils and

paper and learning to shade using different techniques.

Inquiry

• Seeing this is my first time presenting real PLT’s, I really loved it because it gave me a challenge to work harder and achieve my best.

• Our topic this term has been really good learning about the different natural disasters.

• I especially enjoyed learning about Tsunami’s and Cyclones.

Positive Education

• Positive Education has helped me a lot this year learning about people get bullied and what you can do if you are in that situation.

• It has taught me to stand up for myself and others no matter what situation I am in.

Sport

• My Favourite..• I have loved sport this year because we have

learnt different games and activities.• The best games we have played this year in

sport are definitely soccer, footy, cricket and basketball.

2012

• Overall this has been my best at St Lukes because of all the fun things we do and getting to know my classmates better.

• Thankyou Mrs Gridley for teaching me this year. It has been a great year.
