Trinity Care Foundation (TCF) is a public charitable trust registered under the Indian

Trust Act 1882 in Bangalore, in the year 2007, with main focus on enhancing the

public health programs effectiveness and strengthening the community health

programs by reaching out to the socially and economically underprivileged sections of

the society both in rural and urban India.

The main activities or Programs of Trinity Care Foundation at present are;

1. School and College Health Program

a. Health Check-up – Preventative Health Screening, diagnosis, treatment and

follow-up. Health Card with findings is maintained. BMI Index – Nutritional

Status, Dental Caries, Anemia, Oral Health, Skin diseases, Health and

Hygiene, etc.,

b. Health Education – Education and awareness programs about Health and

Hygiene, Food, physiology, ill effects of Tobacco and Alcohol, Child

abuse, Adolescent Health, etc., Focus on Tobacco Awareness Programs

for Students in 7th

Standards -10th

Standards.

c. Dental Treatment – Oral Health Awareness Sessions are conducted for

students. Oral Health Screening followed up with Dental Treatments like

Scaling, Extractions and Fillings done on the Mobile Dental Unit and

further Treatments are referred to the nearest Dental Colleges for

treatment at a nominal cost. Oral Health Education Sessions for Parents

and Teachers are also conducted with the support and guidance of the

following departments;

Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka.

Directorate of Public Instruction, Government of Karnataka.

Directorate of College Education, Government of Karnataka.

Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka.

2. Cranio-Facial Surgeries

Facial Deformities – About 1 in 500 Children born in India have a Facial

Deformity. Cleft Lip and Palate treatments require follow up till the age of 21-

24 and multiple surgeries. Treatments are provided in the premiere hospitals

in Bangalore such as St. Philomena’s Hospital and Mallige Hospital by a

team of Neurosurgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Maxillo-facial Surgeons, Speech

Therapists, Dentists, etc.,

3. Outreach Programs in rural India

a. Rural – Community Health Program focusing on the rural poor. A

Team of professional consisting of Physicians, Pediatricians,

Gynecologists, Ophthalmologists and Dental surgeons visit the

rural areas and provide valuable service. Medicines are distributed

at free of cost.

b. Urban slums - Focusing the urban poor Medical and Dental Camps

are conducted in Government Schools or PHC’s. Medicines are

distributed at free of cost.
