Transcript of Nfl In Canada[1]

Toronto Thunder

Bringing the NFL in Canada can be a great thing for Canadian people as there is tremendous interest for it. The specific location in which I tend to make the bid for will be Toronto as it is the third biggest sports market in North America.

Toronto is also Canada’s financial capital, its largest city as well a sizzling population of about 4.6 million which shows that there is a stable market for which an NFL team can be supported by.

I believe that in order for this bid to work we can have test games such as exhibition ones in which NFL teams come to play.

In Toronto we have state of the art venues such as the Rogers Center that professional teams like the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Argonauts call there home.

DALLAS COWBOYS HOME STADIUM

DENVER BRONCOS HOME STADIUM

Slight modification will need to be made in to order meet NFL regulations such as adding extra seats as the Rogers Center only hold 52,000 while NFL regulation state that no NFL home team can have less then 62,000.

Here is a pole done by the committee members as well as the city of Toronto to see what the team name should be. The team name as a result of the final vote is The Toronto Thunder.

Number of Votes per Team Name

In order for this bid to go throughthere must be corporate sponsors involved, so that there is good financial support. So far there has been interest from various companies such as Rogers, Reebok as well as Pizza Pizza.

In order to see what the team colour should be of the Toronto Thunder there was a survey done in a local Toronto newspaper which had the following colours listed: Blue, Red, Yellow and green. The colour with the most votes for was blue.
