Gujrat Commerce College is privileged to be a part of the 150th birth anniversary celebration of

Mahatama Gandhi. Gandhi’s philosophy was not purely based on theory; instead he lived by

rules of pragmatism. He practiced what he preached every day of his life. Gujarat College

Campus jointly celebrated the occasion imbibing the spirit of Unity, Brotherhood and Harmony.

At 7:00 a.m. in ‘PRABHAT FERI’ all faculty members along with students proceeded from

Gujarat College to Kocharab Aashram to express their special gratitude to the Father of the

Nation.

Place of Gujarat College Campus.

Prof. Veersang Choudhari, Gujarat Arts and Science College, Department of History

presented his thoughts on ‘ My Experiments with Truth’ and signified the importance of truth ,

honesty, fearlessness in the today’s world. - “Continue to grow and evolve.”

Prof. Maheshbhai Patel, Gujarat Arts and Commerce College, Department of History shared

the incidences of Gandhiji on Time Punctuality, Equality, Non Violence, Education

andCleanliness with practical approach of living. - “Take care of this moment.”

Dr. Niyatiben Antani, Gujarat Arts and Commerce College, Department of Gujarati talked

about Partition of India Pakistan, Indigo movement – CHAMPARANYA SATYAGRAH and

many communal matters. - “Without action, you aren’t going anywhere.”

Cleanliness Drive

Under the Cleanliness drive of the college, NSS AND NCC students have cleaned the college campus,

college building and terrace under the supervision of in charge professor V.N. Prajapati and Dr. H. R.

Gohil.
