Climbing Wall

• A climbing wall can be constructed in the already existing racquetball court.

• Program to include Guide and lesson

• $26,000 for bouldering (no fun)

• Hotel guests will pay for ½ hour of climbing ($10.00)

Equestrian Program

• The Resort stable of horses promise fun and excitement. Guests will ride through the many trails in and around the Appalachian mountain range where American Indians (Lenape, Cherokee) are known to have hunted, trapped, gamed and inhabited .

• Guests will also experience the flora and fauna of the region as well as the breath-taking views from the mountain top, further added to the experience and linked them to our Northeastern Pioneer history.

Equestrian Package

• Guests are shuttled to Mountain top for 1 hour trail ride. Cost: $60. per ride.• Day ride at 10:30am• Afternoon ride at

2:00pm• Stage Early Americans

running past guests followed by Lenape Indian (actors in costume).

Next Steps

• Contract with local resident to bring horses to the Mountain Top for trail rides.

• Expand trail system to accommodate horses.

• Confirmed with Liz. Billy Kabe to build corral and lean-to.

Nature Hike (tie in copy with hiking, fishing, boating and archery)

• Guests will connect with the past as they travel 5 miles of trails in the Northeastern woodlands of Hamburg Mountain where Delaware Indians (or Lenape) are known to have hunted, trapped, fished and farmed corn, beans and squash in early American History.

Guided Mountain Canoe/Hike

• 5 mile round trip semi-strenuous hike through ancient Native American woodlands showcase old-growth, new growth and re-forested landscapes and abundant wildlife

• 800 ft. vertical rise to the lake.

Guided Mountain Canoe/Hike

• Guests canoe for 30 minutes and then hike down the mountain to the Minerals Hotel.

• Leave Minerals at 9:30am to mountain top.

• Short lesson on Canoeing techniques.

Guided 3 Lakes with Kayaks

• Guests take shuttle to bottom of gondola and take scenic ride to mountain top. Hike begins there – a gentle intermediate walk which is 200 ft elevation gain.

• At the top they receive instruction on Kayaking safety.

• Excursion on lake lasts about 90 minutes.

Guided 3 Lakes with Kayaks

• Guests return to Gondola and ride back down.

• Excursion followed by a sumptuous luncheon in the Biergarten.

Guided 3 Lakes with Kayaks

• Excursion – 10am Van ride to Gondola, hike 3 lakes and kayak, take gondola to Biergarten for lunch at 12pm. Return to hotel/s by 1pm. (lunch optional)

• Price: $15.00 (includes apple and bottle of water)

• Plan: 3 double kayaks ($630), 5 single kayaks ($325ea), 11 paddles ($45pr), 20 life vests ($20).

Archery & Fishing

• Native Americans and early town settlers have long favored fishing at the Quarry and hunting with bow and arrow on Hamburg Mountain. Guests participate in a catch and release program and connect with a part of history.

• Archery is a target shooting activity. Bows, arrows and assistance will be provided by an archery instructor.

Shooting − Sporting Clays and Targets

• New to Crystal Springs, skilled and novice shooters alike will enjoy a true huntsman’s paradise while shooting sporting clay and target shooting.

• Expert instruction, a safe environment and state-of-the art equipment will enhance the guest’s overall Mountain-top vacation while allowing them to connect with the early settlers and pioneers.

Family Bicycling

• Guests will enjoy biking around lake.

• A guide will narrate trail Pioneer/Indian history.

• Guests who can not ride can walk/jog along the trail with bikers.

• Small Bus with bike rack will take guests to trail

Marshmallow Roast

• Weather permitting. Marshmallows available on decks of both properties. Supervision TBD at Minerals.

Winter Internal Activities

• Hikes will continue through the winter and hopefully ,with some natural snow, we will offer snowshoeing.

• Cross country skiing on select Saturdays to High Point State Park

• Kids classes will continue on Saturdays and Sundays/holidays
