The Solution
InfraredThermographyisafastNDTinspectionmethod,whichdoesnot

arangefrom-50ºCto1500ºC.

In-situ Metallography
In-situMetallographyandreplicationisusedformicrostructuralanalysiswhenexamininglarge

permissible. In - situ Metallography allows for quick on-site evaluation of a component's
metallurgicalandheattreatmentconditionandassistinvestigatorswhencarryingoutaremaining
lifeassessmentstudyorafailureanalysisproject.
Carbonation testChemicaltestisoneoftheusefulmethodstodeterminethedeteriorationofconcreteandtheremaininglifeof
existingconcretestructure.Itisalsousedtodeterminethecorrosionofreinforcementbar.Carbonationisa
process,whichcausesdeteriorationoftheconcreteduetotheactionofatmosphericcarbondioxide.
Eddy current testingEddycurrenttestingisusedtodetectsurfaceand
near surface irregularities in ferrous and non-
ferrous materials by inducing an eddy current
�ieldinthepartundertest.
Helium Leak Test
Leak testing is a non-destructive examination method,
whichisused,fordetectionandlocalizationofleaksandfor
measurement of leakage in systems or objects which is
undervacuumorpressure.
Liquid Penetrant TestingVarious types of liquid penetrant testing

Pile Integrity TestThe Pile Integrity test confirms the absence of major

Residual Life Assessment
Before the renovation and modernization / life extension programme, it is
mandatory to conduct Residual Life Assessment study (RLA) of all critical

availability.
