National Implementation of Climate Services in
Germany
Summary
Achievements
National GFCS implementation (DKD) in joint cooperation with national
environment agency and the climate change adaptation community
Many national climate services have been established (more to come)
All five GFCS pillars are more or less well developed and operational
(last operational gap to be closed in 2019/20: decadal climate predictions)
We are looking forward to close cooperation with C3S
- as service provider / intermediate user / German user representative
