Aim: to experience an assessment centre exercise.Objectives:By the end of the session you should be able to:Explain what an assessment centre is and why they are used.Describe what went well and what you could improve for next time following the assessment centre exercise.

A number of exercises designed to assess the full range of skills and personal attributes required for the job.

They may include: Group activities Delivering a presentation E-tray exercises Role plays Tests

They are one of the most reliable methods of assessing candidates.

They offer a thorough, in-depth assessment.

They assess what candidates will actually do if selected, not just how good they are at interview.
