Product• Product expo was the hero with
most mentions.• Providing a platform for investors
to meet Product Companies• Providing a good opportunity for
product companies to showcase their products
• I came to know more about markets and how to position products based on various market segments.
Speakers• Access to key speakers before and
after sessions • The two Speakers Levinson & Bartz • Most of the speakers were real
entrepreneurs and they shared their insights which are of immense value.
• Access to key speakers before and after sessions
• the quality of speakers and good organization
Networking• General good feeling about the
networking opportunities the event provided
• It's a tremendous networking opportunity, and it was good to see people make best use of it.
• Quite a few well known people and decision makers attended the conclave. That gave very good opportunity for fruitful networking

Sessions
• Sitting arrangements in all sessions should facilitate networking
• When there is a certain focus, the sessions should be in greater detail
• Provide a place to put our bags and stuff - like a security area...etc.
• Parallel sessions – missed a few good sessions
• Audio Quality dampened some sessions
Product
• Selling products unabashedly like Amitabh did of Azure must not be allowed
• Better vertical representation at the Product Expo
• more product expo - exposes our product to generate biz leads
• deep dives in relevant topics related to startup/product development

Cloud• Most people just mentioned ‘Cloud’ or ‘Cloud computing’
• Cloud computing trends and what the industry leaders are saying in this regard

• Cloud computing got clearer
• Cloud is here to stay, be it private, public or hybrid
• Additional inputs on Cloud and Indian market
• Microsoft's Cloud strategy
Product
• India way far behind in product space & majority of India doesn't understand Products business.
• Looking for customer needs for product dev. rather than technology driven approach
• Overcome fear to build software products
• Product is not just engg, it is also about marketing (by Carol Bartz)
• Attend more of product conclaves and expos and interact more with entrepreneurs for right guidance.

19. What is that one thing that made the Product Conclave worth attending? (Please be descriptive - up to 2,000 characters)
Product• The quality of speakers. Views from the people
who have done it. Perspective to shift from a service centric approach to product centric approach.
• The opportunity to showcase our product to a wider audience and we were not disappointed. We got a lot of leads.
• The strong focus on innovative product startup community.
• Expanding my knowledge and awareness of the various software products that are already present in our country and to actually see the successes of these products
Networking• Networking was mentioned as one
of the most positive results of the Conclave
• It is worth attending because many people will get some contacts with the persons very easily, which may improve their business in future.
• It was nice that I could do the demo of my product on day 0. It would have been nice if startups could do the demo on day 1 or 2 also. The networking was good.
Start-up• Interaction with successful product
startup founders like Sahil Jain and Pallav Nadhani.
• Good Startup demos. • The strong focus on innovative
product startup community.• Getting to know about more
products. I My main aim was to network and see the product space in India to leverage. I've signed up one startup company earlier to OEM their BPM product.

20. Do you have any suggestions for NASSCOM Product Conclave? (Please be descriptive - your answer can be up to 2000 characters)
Product• DO bring some key bureaucrats handling IT and
telecom space to share the initiatives govt. of India is taking to boost the product ecosystem.
• Please do not invite speakers who use this as their product sales pitch. People need to share what they did when they faced similar situation.
• 1. Avoid overlap of critical & important programmes. 2. Avoid non-entrepreneur crowd, services companies. 3. Invite international product startups 4. Bring in more successful global as well as Global Indian entrepreneur, gurus, leaders.
Product (cont.d)• 1, sound was not clear in main auditoriam (noise from A/C,
Echo) 2, Product Expo - want to see more startup products, than big company products. 3, Requesting a session by Facebook CEO - Mark Zuckerberg, for next year. 4, Coverage in techcrunch, also want to see Michel Arrington. 5, Frankly, I dont have anything interesting to say about this event to my friends (though I got many connections from this event). So I want to see better things next year
• Speakers from successful product companies worldwide could be brought in for sessions, which will add tremendous amount of value.
