Narration of Experience

November 26, 2015. It was the first day of my on-the-job training at Quickminds

Corporation-Cauayan, which is a recruitment agency. I am tense because I did

not know what to expect with the agency and with the work that I will do. Ms. Jenalyn

Ramirez, the Recruitment and training Officer oriented me with the other OJT’s about

the recruitment agency and on the things we that we should remember while we are in

the company. Then Ms. Ramirez introduced us to other employees which were so nice

to us.

November 27, 2015 is the second day of my OJT. I was still adjusting with the

working environment I had. The officer tasked me to encode additional data of

applicants in the Masterfile of applicants. I accommodated applicants, too for initial

interview and administered their pre-employment exam.

On the next day November 28, 2015, I started sweeping and cleaning the office

tables then the officer task me to call applicants for confirmation of their attendance for

their scheduled interview.

On December 3, 2015, after cleaning, I was instructed by one of the officers to

photocopy files of applicants and newly hired employees.  After I photocopied the

documents, I brought those documents to other department and assist them in sorting

the files the whole of the afternoon.

On the following day December 4, 2015. I filed documents. I encoded additional

data for statutory transmittal of the agency, signed by the officer then I submitted the

transmittal to other department for process.

On December 5, 2015, one of the officer teach us to use the scanner. I filed

some documents of the newly hired employees. Then, in the afternoon I was task to call

applicants for their scheduled interview.

December 10, 2015, after cleaning, I accommodated applicants for pre-

employment exam in the morning then, in the afternoon I was task by one of the officer

to encode applicants’ information in the applicants Masterfile.
