- Types of Classes Traditional course instructor led face-to-face
classroom instruction Hybrid course instructor and student enter a
partnership both inside and outside of the classroom. Typically a
portion of the work is performed online with a lab portion on
campus. Distance Learning course class takes place in a virtual
classroom which means that students attend class by using a
computer and the Internet. There is very little face-to-face
contact between instructor and students. Virtual Learning --
students from a remote location join live classes happening at
other campuses.
